Whether you’re managing an office of 50 or a residential building of 500, National Wine Day is a golden opportunity to bring people together around something just about everyone can agree on — a good glass of wine. At Officewell, we specialize in creating Experiences that feel less like a corporate requirement and more like a moment of connection. We work with real estate teams, People Ops, and tenant engagement managers to bring life into the buildings they run. National Wine Day is one of those sweet spots where fun meets community, and a little curation goes a long way.

If you’re wondering whether wine is the right theme for your building or your team, the answer is yes. There’s something deeply human about gathering over a glass, learning something new, and maybe even discovering a new favorite bottle (or three). And for National Wine Day? We’ve sourced wine-forward Experiences from some of the best partners in the business, so all you have to do is click Book Now and pop the cork.

Why Host a National Wine Day Event?

Let’s be honest: there are a lot of “national days” that come and go with barely a nod. But National Wine Day is a different story. It's universally appealing, casually elegant, and ideal for both small teams and large communities. Wine opens doors to conversation, creates a shared experience, and is easy to customize depending on the group.

Plus, a wine-centric event can be educational without being formal, interactive without being exhausting, and elevated without being stuffy. Whether your attendees are wine connoisseurs or total beginners, everyone walks away a little happier — and probably with a photo or two they’ll actually post.

The Best Wine Tasting Experiences for National Wine Day

We’ve rounded up some of our most popular wine Experiences perfect for National Wine Day — and they work for office teams and residential properties alike. From sipping rosé with rooftop views to going virtual with sommeliers who ship straight to your door, here’s what you should be booking now.

Wine Tasting Experience

There’s no better way to celebrate National Wine Day than a curated tasting led by a sommelier who knows how to keep things fun and educational. Our partners walk your group through hand-picked varietals, share a few tasting tips, and answer questions without pretense. You can host this in an office common area, tenant lounge, or rooftop patio. Bonus points if you add light bites or a cheese board.

FAQs About National Wine Day Events

Can we do a National Wine Day event if our residents or employees don’t drink?
Yes! Many of our partners offer non-alcoholic options or mocktail versions. You can also add in food-focused elements like cheese pairings or grape juice tastings to keep everyone included.

How far in advance should we book a wine event?
At least 2–3 weeks out is ideal, especially for in-person tastings or experiences that require shipping. But if you're cutting it close, reach out — we’ll do everything we can to make it work.

Do we need a liquor license to host a wine tasting onsite?
Most of our partners are licensed to serve, but it varies by location. If your property or workplace requires specific permits, we’ll coordinate with our partners to make sure everything is by the book.

How long does a typical wine event last?
Most tastings run between 60 and 90 minutes. You can extend with a happy hour, networking time, or pair it with live music or another activation.

Can we combine multiple wine experiences into one event?
Absolutely. Many of our Members love mixing a wine tasting with a cheese pairing or booking a woman-owned tasting with a virtual wine education session. Just let us know what you're thinking.
